We’ve hopefully answered all of your main questions below!

SiS is seeking engaging and compelling stories.

Stories can be any style and on any subject as long as they have are created by a resident or ex-pat Tasmanian storyteller.

We are currently accepting:

Visual, Sound and Text based stories. 

First, upload your sound story to a platform like Sound Cloud or Bandcamp, and then paste the link into our submission form. Easy.

Bandcamp

Click here, this page tells you how to do it – it’s very simple.

Soundcloud

You can just paste the url of your track on the soundcloud website,

or you can create a shortcode by following these simple steps and then paste the code into the Judging File text box on the entry form.

We prefer the latter option.

*Please ensure your file is set to public on the host platform. Not private or password protected, our site will not be able to display/play the content if this is the case.

First, upload your visual story to a platform like Youtube or Vimeo, and then paste the link into our submission form. Easy.

No. Each entry costs $10 plus GST and payment fees.

Please include a link to your story from where it is hosted online. i.e. Youtube, Vimeo, Soundcloud, Bandcamp etc…

*If using Bandcamp please follow these directions to ensure the link you provide embeds and plays properly on our website.

We will use this link for streaming your content on our website.

Please understand that we do not have time to comment on individual stories. We appreciate your understanding.

Yes. Producers of films or documentaries can upload their movie files with subtitles displayed, if you feel that it best for your content.

We accept entries from now until midnight, August 30, 2019.

Entries close at midnight on August 15, 2020.

The maximum number of words for text story submissions is 5000.
